Rui Luis past away June 5, 2011

He will leave a hole in our lives greater then the Grand Canyon

Rui Luis passed away June 5th 2011, it was a Sunday. A day we all love on the water. He was out rowing his latest toy, a Walker Bay

dinghy sailor. His usual route to Jack London Square for breakfast of fresh fruit. Upon his return to his live aboard "Greybird" he

slipped into the water. Many were near and saw his dilemma, even the great Rooster had issues climbing out.

Cold and wet, he went into hypothermia, where, which it took him from all of us.  I for one miss him every day…..

For my friend Rui, I know he is watching, flying along by my side, every time I see a grey bird and beyond.
